INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PRODUCT DESIGN: THE BLADE IS MACHINED FROM MARINE GRADE STAINLESS STEEL AND INCORPORATES AN OVERALL CURVE WITH AN EXTREMEMLY SHARP HONED BLADE SURFACE. CLOSER EXAMINATION OF THE BLADED END REVEALS A CUTOUT WHICH ADDRESSES THE LIP PRESENT ON SOME OF TODAYS TROLLING MOTORS.
MATERIALS NEEDED:PENCIL, SANDPAPER, ALCOHOL OR ACETONE,EPOXY OR SIMILAR TYPE ADHESIVE.
SUGGESTED INSTALLATION:AS WITH ANY MARINE PRODUCT WHICH UTILIZES A MORE COMPLEX INSTALL, A MARINE/BOAT DEALER IS MORE SUITED FOR PROPER INSTALLATION. IF, HOWEVER, YOU AS THE END USER CHOOSES TO DO SO, FOL-LOWING THE STEPS ILLUSTRATED BELOW SHOULD SUFFICE IN A SECURE INSTALL.
- PLACE ANNIHILATOR ON STOWED BODY OF YOUR TROLLING MOTOR POSITIONING IT SO AS TO ALLOW FREE MOVEMENT OF THE BLADE BASE. YOU’LL NOTICE THAT ITS NOTCHED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE BLADE SURFACE, THIS SHOULD INTERSECT BETWEEN THE BLADE BASE AND MOTOR HOUSING ITSELF.
- ONCE POSITIONED, MARK THE BLADES’ OUTER EDGE WITH A PENCIL OR OTHER SUCH INSTRUMENT.
- REMOVE THE BLADE FROM THE MOTOR BASE AND TAKING CARE NOT TO EXCEED THE OUTLINED BORDER, SAND THE MOTOR SURFACE FOR THE NEXT STEP IN THE PROCESS.
- DO THE SAME TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE ANNIHILATOR NON-BLADED PORTION (LIGHTLY).
- WIPE DOWN BOTH SURFACES WITH ALCOHOL OR ACETONE TO INSURE PROPER BOND.
- COAT BOTH THE SANDED SURFACES WITH SUFFICIENT ADHESIVE TO INSURE A TIGHT BOND. ANY SEEPAGE CAN BE WIPED AWAY PRIOR TO DRYING.
- INSURE FREE BLADE OPERATION WITH NO DECERNABLE RUBBING SOUND FROM THE ANNIHILATOR AND MOTOR INSTALLATION.
ALLOW TO DRY AND YOUR INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.
